Policy to Practice: Championing Gender-Affirming Care (Live Webinar-CE)

As gender-affirming care legislation continues to evolve, health care providers and advocates must stay informed on how to navigate these challenges while supporting transgender and non-binary youth 18 and under. This interactive training will cover recent legislation, strategies for addressing misinformation, and best practices for creating safer, affirming spaces in clinical and community settings for youth. Attendees will participate in breakout sessions where they will watch role-play simulations of real-life scenarios to learn techniques for navigating conversations with patients, families, and colleagues. Participants will leave the training with a greater understanding of best practices for advocacy, patient support, and fostering inclusive care.

Registration opens May 23, 2025.

The audience for this training includes medical professionals such as pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, and mental health specialists who work with adolescents and young adults.
